Lyric Theatre, Belfast a Sound Space Design project with O’Donnell+Tuomey, is one of the six shortlisted buildings for the 2012 RIBA Stirling Prize, the UK’s highest architectural honour.
In a recent Observer Exclusive Rowan Moore describes the Lyric Theatre, Belfast as his first choice. William Hill have the Lyric Theatre, Belfast as joint third favorite (with odds of 4/1) behind the The Hepworth, by Chipperfield architects (3/1 favourite) and The Sainsbury Laboratory, by Stanton Williams (odds 7/2). The Stirling prize will be awarded on 13th October 2012.
